Road Safety

Facts

Men are more likely than women to violate traffic rules.

Poor behaviours or habits of drivers, passengers and pedestrians, such as exceeding speed limit, drink driving, not wearing seat-belt and jay-walking, contribute to a great number of road injuries and fatalities every year. Higher proportion of men sustains injuries or dies from road accidents when compared to women.
