Men, are you concerned about your sexual functioning?

The length and size of penis are always a topic of interest and concern among many men and our website has also received quite a number of enquiries on this topic.  However, penis is like other organs of the body, its size and length vary among different persons, and there is no need to compare with others.  Moreover, the size of penis is not directly associated with sexual functioning and fertility.

Some men may try to enlarge their penis by various means, however, such methods may not be helpful, and furthermore, they may even result in adverse effects.  For example, using drugs without doctor's prescription may cause side effects and make the situation worse.

On the other hand, some people may feel embarrassed to seek medical advice when in doubt of having erectile dysfunction (impotence).  But what you need to know is, increasing number of medical research has found that erectile dysfunction is in fact also a symptom of other medical diseases, such as diabetes mellitus, so one should not take the problem lightly.  Therefore, men, when you are doubtful about your health status, please consult your family doctor who will look for the underlying cause of your problems and prescribe appropriate treatment for you.

Besides, problems like erectile dysfunction can also be related to psychological factors, such as stress, pressure from work, depressed mood and physical fatigue.  For more related information, please visit the Impotence section of our website: http://www.hkmenshealth.com/eng/healthline/impotence.asp.
