Do you know the facts on oral health?

Good oral health is an essential and integral component of one's overall health and well-being.  However, the 2001 Oral Health Survey conducted by the Department of Health found that there are a number of misconceptions and myths on oral health and oral health related behaviour among the adult respondents.  For example, about one-third had untreated decay, only about a quarter reported the habit of regular dental check-up, and although all adults reported the habit of daily tooth brushing, merely one in every ten adults flossed their teeth everyday.

A newly developed quiz titled "How much do you know about oral health" has been uploaded to the "Men's Health Test" section of our website.  Come on, try the quiz, and see how good your oral health knowledge is.

By simply maintaining good oral hygiene, guys, you can improve your oral health status, prevent tooth decay and reduce the risk of tooth loss at old age.  What is more, because you have healthy teeth and fresh breath, you will become more confident and charming.
