Tobacco Control on the World No Tobacco Day

Tobacco use is the second major cause of death in the world. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), half of those who smoke regularly today will eventually be killed by tobacco use. In view of this, the WHO has declared May 31 of each year as the World No Tobacco Day. This highlights the health risks associated with tobacco use and advocate for effective policies to reduce consumption. The theme this year is "The WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control".

 

Smoking has no benefit to your health. If you are non-smokers, you should note that the health benefits of protecting you and your family from second-hand smoke are numerous and obvious. As a smoking man, why not try your best to create a smoke-free environment for you and your family by quitting smoking yourself or encouraging your family to quit smoking ? You know, this may well be one of the best presents which you may be able to get for you and your family in years.

 

On this World No Tobacco Day, we would like to wish you all a smoke-free environment.
