Tips To Prevent Liver Cancer

Liver cancer, as the second leading cause of cancer death among men in Hong Kong, has received a lot of attention. In 2002, it was the fourth most common cancer, with about 1,600 new cases, almost 80% of which were in men. There is a lifetime chance of 1 in every 32 men in developing liver cancer and the corresponding figure in women being 1 in every 131 women.

As liver cancer has a high mortality rate, its prevention is thus of great importance. Understanding the risk factors for liver cancer will help much in its prevention. Below are some common risk factors:
